Jacqueline and Coleton’s wedding at CASS winery was a dream come true. Their wedding day design was simple and sophisticated, with neutral shades of white, gold, and blush accented with dark greenery. From their intimate outdoor ceremony with a vineyard view, to their ambient lounge area for guests to enjoy during cocktail hour, to the breathtaking candlelit reception, every detail of their wedding day was rich with understated elegance.
The newlyweds' love story began when they met at San Diego State University. After several years of dating, Colton proposed to Jacqueline after a sunset picnic at Newport Beach. As they began planning their wedding day, they reached out to me to bring their vision of the perfect wedding day to life.
GETTING READY
FIRST LOOK
ALL SET FOR CEREMONY
The ceremony, set in the shade of a sprawling oak tree, featured live harp music and a stunning vineyard view. As guests arrived to take their seats, they were greeted with a rose petal bar, where guests could gather rose petals to shower on the newlyweds when they walked down the aisle as husband and wife.
COCKTAIL HOUR
For Jacqueline and Coleton, one of their biggest priorities for their wedding was the guest’s experience. They envisioned a beautiful and relaxing atmosphere for their friends and family to enjoy during cocktail hour. I brought their vision to life by staging spacious lounge areas, decorated with votive candles, flower arrangements, and taper candles. Cocktail hour was complete with a quirky van photo booth, a cigar lounge, a charcuterie board spread, and personalized cocktails.
RECEPTION
Their elegant indoor reception was the perfect end to a perfect day. Each table was decorated with dusty rose florals and greenery, and accented with white and gold place settings. Above the candlelit reception, a breathtaking arrangement of hanging greenery and glowing bohemian lanterns hung above the dance floor, where the newlyweds shared their first dance.
